Marine Ball Preparation
6 Weeks before: Purchase your dress from Peaches Boutique and plan out your hair style.
4 Weeks before: Make restaurant and transportation reservations (be sure to record who you spoke with and what they confirmed). Make hair, nail and makeup appointments as well as getting any needed alterations. If you are planning on whitening teeth then start 4 weeks before the marine ball to assure that your teeth are not overly sensitive on the big night. You will also want to start breaking in your shoes.
2 Weeks before: Confirm your plans with your date. You will also want to order any boutonnieres, bouquets or corsages.
1 Day before: Start laying out everything you will need for the marine ball from your undergarments to your makeup and hair products. Also you will want to pack your purse for the following evening. Don't forget to charge and pack your camera so that you won't miss a minute of the evening’s memories. Remember to go sleep early that night; they call it beauty sleep for a reason.
The Day of: Be sure to attend all of your appointments on time if not early allowing more time for the process to be completed. You will want to wear a button down shirt for your hair appointment to assure that you do not mess up your hair as you are changing into your Marine Ball Dress. Pick up flowers and give yourself a little time to breathe and relax. Have fun and dance the night away!
