- BUST: Take the tape around your back and bring it across your Breast. Your arms should be relaxed, down at your sides.
- WAIST: Wrap the tape around your waist at the smallest point.
- HIPS: Make sure the tape is around the fullest part of your hips with your feet together.
Make sure that the tape is level when you are measuring. Take your measurements and match them accordingly (bust, waist, and hips). Measure over undergarments, keep measuring tape level and pull it snug, but not tight. If you will be wearing special undergarments with your dress, measure over those. Most formal wear runs small usually one size smaller than your normal clothing. If between sizes, choose the larger one as it is always easier to alter the dress down than to let it out. Most gowns are long enough to fit girls that are 5'8" (We can accommodate tall girls as well!)
