  We drove 3 hours round trip to the store for my daughter to try on dresses for Homecoming. Having been there before and knowing that weekends there are a zoo, we chose to go on a weekday evening, which was great because there was no line and only a couple of other customers in the store. My daughter had a specific dress she wanted to try on, but they were sold out of it unfortunately and we weren't able to find that out ahead of time because the policy is to not check stock over the phone. The young salewoman who assisted us brought out about ten other similar dresses, but since my daughter wanted something plain and not covered in sequins and rhinestones, the selection was limited. She offered to order the dress for my daughter and have it sent to us, but told us it would be a final sale and non-returnable. I was worried about the size b/c her measurements on the size chart online for that dress were a size 6, but she was trying size 0 or 2 on in the store in the same brand and they fit. I asked the salesperson if we would be able to exchange for the same dress in a different size if it didn't fit and she repeated that it "would be a final sale, so no exchanges for any reason." We opted not to purchase at that time, but ended up later buying the dress from Peaches online, which offered an exchange or partial refund if the dress didn't work out (not sure why the in-store policy is final sale, but online was not). We ordered a size 2 and it fits perfectly and she loves it! It came in less than a week, despite a 14 day shipping estimate, so that was great! All in all, we have purchased both in the store (on a previous visit) and online and had a fairly good overall experience. Just make sure you understand the policies and that your expectations for an in-store visit are in line and you will also have a good experience here as well.
