  • I Would’ve Given 5 Stars, but I had a weird phone exchange.....
So in the midst of COVID we just found out that my daughter’s school was actually going to have a prom this year maybe a month ago. So after doing lots of looking (with things still being limited due to COVID) we decided to order a dress from Peaches. I have ordered from them in the past. Anyway, the first dress came back and did not fit properly. I don’t particularly like their return process, but I already knew what I was dealing with. My issue came when I called to get a return authorization which you need in order to return a dress. When I called, I simply asked who I was speaking to and on my first two calls the ladies acted almost as if it were a problem to tell me their name. To the point where one lady I asked who am I speaking with and she said Peaches Boutique. I said but what is your name, you don’t have a name she responded with this is customer service. She eventually gave me her name, but I just found that to be a little unprofessional. I’m not sure what they thought was going on, but I have found over the years that when you end up speaking to multiple representatives at a company and you relay what the last person told you the first thing they ask you is “well who did you speak to” so I like to ask and document it at the beginning of the conversation. Which I feel is only right. You know the customer’s name, so why shouldn’t the customer know who they’re talking to? Other than that, everything was pretty smooth. I had to go ahead and order a second dress and pay for it prior to receiving my store credit for the first dress, because I just couldn’t afford to waste time waiting while the dress traveled back to them. I needed the second dress to get here as quick as possible and have time to be able to get alterations done if needed. Everything ended up working out. Her prom is April 1st and I’m picking her dress up from the lady doing the alterations two days prior.
