  • Better Customer Service Needed
    The quality of dresses, selection and sizing assistance is superb. I declined giving a 5 star rating this year because of an unpleasant issue I had with the ordering process. In September I ordered dresses for my 2 daughters and was notified the next day that one of the dresses would have to be ordered from the manufacturer and would be non-refundable should an issue occur. I gave my permission & waited for the order to arrive. About 10 days PRIOR to the event, I was nervous because I did not receive tracking information. Upon looking closer at my emails, (according to the phone conversation the dresses were IN STOCK,) I found an email recently sent that the dresses were UNAVAILABLE!!!! I had to wait until the next day, as the online help was unavailable after hours. I explained the issue to your staff and explained that I’ve been ordering for multiple children without issue since 2009. The lady became agitated and replied something about “having worked there for 30 years?” I tried not to be confrontational and reminded her that as a long time customer, I was only asking for help with a stressful situation!! I told her that I was willing to give her other dress selections, but wasn’t getting off the phone until we reached a resolution. She did become more willing to listen, and found dresses that were in stock. I was appreciative that she arranged shipping at the expense of Peaches, for my inconvenience. My 2 suggestions are that you try HARDER to contact customers when cancelling orders, (particularly if you’ve already told them the order was being processed!!). Also, I have management experience, a large successful family business and it’s always been our philosophy that THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT, and to help customers if they have encountered problems with our product or service!!!
