I have been dress shopping for a while …I have been dress shopping for a while after my boyfriend asked me to an adult prom he's throwing me. I never went to prom so he decided he wanted to give me the experience. I had gone to many stores but I didn't find any dresses that made me feel beautiful or say "this is the one!". After getting desperate enough to consider buying one online I came across peaches.com. I had heard really good things about this store from people around my area but I live over an hour away from the boutique so I never checked into it. After coming across the website I found a dress that I LOVED. So we made the trip up so I could try it on. It was very busy, being a weekend and so close to homecoming, but I was still constantly getting offered help. After going back to pull the dress I found out they only had a size 16 left and that was the only one in stock because they weren't being made since it's not prom season. I ended up trying it on anyways because I loved the way it looked even MORE when I saw it in person. Sure enough it was THE ONE. At that point I was determined to wear that dress to the prom so I asked if there was any way I could just buy it anyways and find a tailor willing to take it down that much.They ended up checking with alterations to see if they could alter it to my size because I wanted it in the worst way and to my surprise they said yes! So they took it down from a size 16 to a size 6! In only one fitting! My dress is beautiful, FITS BEAUTIFULLY, and my experience at peaches made this whole event even more amazing and unforgettable.
